Kurd Maverick calls on Jermaine Dupri to up the ante on his party starter ‘Hell Yeah’

Last summer, long time DJ Kurd Maverick dropped “Hell Yeah,” a party starting, blood pumping electro effort with chants appropriate for your wildest nights out. Looking to take his track to the next level, Kurd finds rapper Jermaine Dupri to take over his pride production. Dupri takes a role that is less rapper and more MC, supplying the track with lines that have provoked hip-hop club crowds for years. Reinvented, “Hell Yeah” has been released via Spinnin Records as a joint effort between the German producer and hip-hop heavyweight.

Kurd Maverick – Hell Yeah (Original Mix)

5460390

Kurd Maverick is a German DJ who has been producing music since early 2005. His latest track “Hell Yeah” is his first single of the year and is definitely a pump up song. It starts out light with repeated “Hell Yeah” vocals until about two minutes in when it hits the breakdown. The song reminds us of Aoki’s “I’m in the House” but there are enough differences to make it unique. The track is now available from Spinnin’ Records on Beatport.
