Life in Color is saying goodbye to 2012 in a blur of body paint and heavy electro courtesy of Steve Aoki and Tommy Trash. For those of you staying home tonight, be sure to tune in here at 8pm because tonight’s show at Bader Field in Atlantic City will be broadcast live via LineRocket and Dancing Astronaut.

The tri-state area will be back with dance music talent this New Year’s Eve, and just outside of the big apple, in Atlantic City, Steve Aoki and Tommy Trash will be hosting Life In Color to ring in 2013. If you can’t make it to the colorful affair, you’re in luck — Dancing Astronaut will be hosting the livestream of sets from both Aoki and Tommy live from Bader Field starting at 10pm EST.

Anyone who has seen Adventure Club live knows that their taste in electronic music goes beyond their penchant for melodic dubstep — the Montreal duo have an affinity for the entire spectrum of beautiful bass music. Releasing their first ever published mixtape, Adventure Club stay true to this idea, sculpting a thirty minute mix of delightful dubstep, trap, downtempo, and deep house for Life in Color (formerly known as Dayglow). With tracks from Flinch, TNGHT, Flume, Duke Dumont, and Disclosure, this is one of the most eclectic mixtapes we’ve heard in a while. In typical Adventure Club fashion, the mixtape is available for free download from their SoundCloud. Click past the break for the full tracklist and download.
Pacha NYC and Life In Color (formerly Dayglow) just posted their teasers for big New Years Eve events. Pacha’s video contains a millisecond of Afrojack footage and a teaser for more information on Friday, but we’re pretty sure his show will be at Pier 94. Life In Color will be bringing Steve Aoki, Tommy Trash, and Adventure Club to Atlantic City as well on the same night.
The only question is: Where will you be ringing in the New Year?
First came Dayglow, then Dayglow 3D, B.L.U., Life in Color, and now Committee Entertainment is back yet again with another new acronym. The E.N.D. tour (or “Electronic Never Dies”) promises new performances, new spectacle,s and of course more paint. From the signage on Dayglow’s Facebook fan page and this tour art, it looks like the “Dayglow” name is also being phased out in favor of “Life In Color.”
The E.N.D. is very appropriate for 2012 as we near the end of the Mayan calendar. Check below to see if your city made phase one, as tickets go on sale Monday July 16th and you wouldn’t want to miss out on going hard in the paint. Artists always vary by city and will be announced after tickets go on sale. Stay tuned for more.
Update: Dayglow has announced a new date for Los Angeles, November 17th at the Shrine Expo Hall. Tickets will be on sale Thursday August 23rd at 8AM on Ticketfly.
Everyone’s favorite paint party, Dayglow, is returning with a new show and this time they’re bringing the color. With artists like Chuckie, R3hab, and Sidney Samson performing at different stops, “Life in Color” looks to bring EDM to the masses. The colorful madness kicked off on New Year’s day with Benny Benassi and Alesso, and will be making its way to more than 56 cities this spring. Tickets are now on sale but many shows have already begun to sell out; check out the full list of cities below to see if “Life in Color” will be coming to your town.
