John Dahlback’s ”Life” was one of our favorite tracks from 2012. In fact, it even made our ‘Top 50 Biggest Tracks of 2012′ list. Like many standout singles before it, months have passed and a vocal version has finally surfaced. Catalyzed by the likes of Swedish singer Agnes, “Life” has been revamped by into a more club-oriented cut and subtitled “Diamonds in the Dark.”
Accompanying the release of Dahlback’s vocal-enhanced original will be three diverse remixes from Feenixpawl, Lazy Rich, and Lunde Bros. While Australians Feenixpawl provide a glitchy rendition, Lazy Rich instills his characteristic brand of spastic electro house. Lunde Bros round out the remix contingent with a bouncy minimal take on the euphoric original. The entire “Life (Diamonds in the Dark)” package is set to be released on Big Beat Records on February 25th. Click past the break to hear the vocal version of “Life” and its three forthcoming remixes.

Last year Leeds-based producer and DJ Miguel Campbell made his Hot Creations debut with the release of his hit single “Something Special.” The track was discovered by Jamie Jones a year prior at Miami Music Week, and fully embodies the throwback deep house sound that Campbell has come to represent. With said release, his recent Essential Mix, and this Back In Flight School artist album, he is showing that he is not a one-track success, but more likely a music producer that is pioneering a wave of inspirational sounds in the deep house realm. Read on to hear our take on this impressive album from the man himself.

John Dahlback’s newly released tune, “Life,” is in line with the progressive house offerings we’ve come to expect from the Swedish DJ. Pete Tong has already dubbed it as an essential tune on his BBC Radio 1 program and the feedback on social networks is similarly stellar. “Life” is an uplifting track full of harmonious riffs, melodious synths and a fiery bass line that rears its head during the drop. Whether driving down a long open road, standing in the crowd at a packed venue, or sitting in front of a computer screen there is a place for this song.

MASSIVE is the understatement of the century to describe this electro hit by Dada Life. The funny lyrics and hard style make the original a pleasure to listen too. The Avicii and Francesco Diaz are progressive hits as well. Avicii keeps coming with the “Piano House” bangers big props to him for dominating 2010 thus far.
Typical Dada Life…
