No Artificial Colours have been all over the map since joining forces in 2009, releasing material on Nurvous Records, petFood, Sleazy Deep, and Resonance and promoting a certain slinking house vibe we’d call more genuine than a lot of the deeper house out there right now. “Crying Wolf” is the title track off their most recent EP, released earlier this month on Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Records. It’s definitely got that shuffle, that 2-step vibe, but not without a bellowing bass line fit only for empty warehouses and proper headphones. You might also recognize Alex Mills’ vocals from Miguel Campbell’s “Something Special.” Listen to a Radio 1 rip below (courtesy of the label) and grab the EP on Beatport.
