A few weeks ago, Mark Knight’s Toolroom Records took us behind the scenes in a new web series showcasing all the happenings within the world-renowned label. In its debut episode, Knight declared that “[Federico Scavo, Alex Kenji, and Manuel De La Mare] are the future of Toolroom.” A plug like this — coming from a man of his stature — is as high of an accolade a DJ could hope for. On this latest rendition of “Runnin’,” Manuel De La Mare makes Mark Knight’s claims crystal clear. With its bouncy chord play and rhythmic beat, this groovy tech house gem has the dance floor appeal of a soulful summertime party.

“Tocas Miracle” is one of the more classic progressive tunes of our time. Fragma was extremely successful with the original track due to its catchy vocals, soothing strings, and chic style. Rising star Manuel De La Mare teamed up with the reputable Italian Luigi Rocca to deliver us a praiseworthy remix. Their remix contains the perfect amount of subtle tech-house to keep the track stimulating and fun. Manuel De La Mare has been on fire over the past few months with releases like “Snapshot” ft. Mark Knight, LA Social ft. Luca Monticelli, and “The Rules Of The Game.” 2012 will most probably be Manuel’s biggest year in terms of quality productions and rising popularity, and we are excited to keep a close eye on him.

This is why you’ve just gotta love house music. The Space Mix of Manuel de la Mare’s Iberian tasteful club banger samples the Gipsy Kings’ classic “Bamboleo” (which I’m sure you’ve heard since age 5) and turns it into a techy dance track that you’ll hear without fail all through Ibiza when clubs like Space reopen next summer. His other track, Ameno, is a different beast entirely – it sounds like a progressive version of a chanting soccer stadium. He teams up with Luigi Rocca and Roberto Molinaro to pull off what they refer to as “a super clubby theme with a theme that will definitely make the complete crown turn up their hands right before crashing the club pillars.”

And just as an added bonus, here’s an older club mix of Bamboleo from DJ Dolce, which leaves the original vocals intact:

Dancing Astronaut took part in a debate between Vegas vs. Ibiza for the ‘dance throne.’ Looks like Robbie Rivera and Manuel De La Mare both prefer Ibiza. This magical island of fun has had its fair share of love shown to it from producers around the globe. “I Love Ibiza” features a fun bassline with a few unique twists and turns.
Robbie Rivera is known for his classic hard hitting ‘Juicy’ mixes, however, the original mix of “I Love Ibiza” shows us his sensitive side. This is the most gentle track delivered from him since we’ve been religiously following his career. Manuel De La Mare’s touches are evident throughout the tune and are especially evident during the build up stages of the track.

Manuel De La Mare has been on point recently with his releases of “Guerilla,” “Snapshot,” and “L.A. Social.” His remix of this track is our favorite out of the package. Not only does it back a deeper punch than the original, but the progressive and tech elements of the tune flow seamlessly throughout all the transitionary segments.

Ok, here we go. Now this is a little bit harder and closer to what we have come to expect from Robbie. The drop is unique because it has that jungle vibe to it. The ‘shake your booty’ title is well deserved because it definitely does make you want to get moving on the dancefloor.

Over the past 24 months, Manuel De La Mare’s productions have caught the attention of global icon’s such as Fedde Le Grand and Mark Knight. Very recently, the Italian born producer released the massive tech-house track “buy cheap cialis
anuel De La Mare – Snapshot (Original Mix)” href=”http://www.dancingastronaut.com/2011/10/mark-knight-manuel-de-la-mare-snapshot-original-mix/”>Snapshot” alongside Mark Knight, which was featured on Toolroom Records Amsterdam 2011 Compilation. “La Social” was another great progressive tune ft. Luca Monticelli that Manuel De La Mare created for the compilation. He delivers a similar flavor from “La Social” to his latest original “Guerrilla,” again featuring Luca Monticelli. This song builds up with immensely moving piano chords and the momentum carries on with thumping bass kicks. At 2:00, a surprising and mood changing hook of rolling acid beats take over and gives the track an awesome dirty twist. We are definitely looking forward to hearing more exceptional releases from Manuel this upcoming year.
