Marquee Las Vegas has rolled out a star-studded lineup for Memorial Day weekend, stacking both the Dayclub and Nightclub for four straight days. Arty will kick off the festivities Friday afternoon, followed by Armin van Buuren and W&W that evening. Gareth Emery and Kaskade are slated for Saturday, with Kaskade returning Sunday afternoon and Benny Benassi closing the night out. Memorial Day itself sees Sander van Doorn and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano take the decks, with Dash Berlin bringing the weekend to a close. If you were hoping to venture to Vegas next weekend for the grand opening of the new Cirque du Soleil-themed nightclub Light in Mandalay Bay, you’ll need to hold on just a few weeks longer. The Light Group and Light Nightclub announced via Twitter that because of construction delays on the new club, the opening would be pushed back one month to Memorial Day Weekend.

Pasquale Rotella confirmed Chicago as a destination on Electric Daisy Carnival’s road to Vegas last month, and the official announcement has finally been made. EDC Chicago will span Memorial Day Weekend as rumored and will take place at the windy city’s Chicagoland Speedway. After its success in Las Vegas, the festival has touched down in New York, Orlando, and Puerto Rico; and now, Chicago will be graced with Electric Daisy Carnival on May 24th, 25th, and 26th — but here’s the kicker: Chicago will be the first to offer camping.

On Sunday May 29th, electronic phenomenon Deadmau5 returned from his wildly successful two year anniversary party to bring his overwhelming popularity to Memorial Day Weekend at XS Nightclub.
Sunday marked the height of Memorial Day Weekend in Las Vegas as a lineup of all-star artists flooded the town. Talent such as Armin Van Buuren, Erick Morillo, Paul van Dyk, LA Riots, and David Guetta were all set to perform that evening and unfortunately we could only choose one. I whipped out the DA Guide to MDW and decided that Deadmau5 at XS was the place to be.
