With summer fast approaching and Vegas pool party season about to be in full swing, MGM’s Hakkasan Las Vegas and Wet Republic have just announced their Memorial Day Weekend lineups. Easily one of the best weekends of the summer in the City of Sin, Memorial Day Weekend is always an action packed experience. Hakkasan’s first MDW on the strip boasts an impressive selection of talents, including Laidback Luke, Tiësto, Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, Deadmau5 and Hardwell all set to perform from Thursday to Monday. MGM’s iconic pool party WET REPUBLIC features a similarly stacked lineup with R3hab and Tommy Trash, Tiësto, Calvin Harris and Deadmau5 currently on the bill.
Tickets for both event series go on sale Wednesday, April 24th.
Calvin Harris recently became the first resident announced for Las Vegas’s brand new Hakkasan nightclub, but he wouldn’t be the last. Set to headline 46 gigs at MGM’s future establishment and 22 at the Wet Republic day parties, Harris is followed by Tiësto, who has just announced a similar deal. Over the course of his 20-month residency, set to kick off in April, Tiësto pledges to bring fresh young talent through the MGM each week and will try not to repeat opening acts. While he also talks at length about Hakkasan’s production quality, he also notes that he will be spending most of his time and focus for 2013 in Las Vegas — aside from a few festivals.
Hakkasan Las Vegas at the MGM Grand is quickly positioning itself to become a juggernaut in Las Vegas nightlife, offering it’s guests a fully-curated experience that seeks to combine fine dining with unparalleled entertainment and nightlife inside the 5-level, 75,000 square foot venue.
Grammy award winner Calvin Harris has just announced his exclusive residency beginning in April for the megaclub’s opening month. Set to perform 46 dates at Hakkasan, Calvin will also be bringing his residency to the famed WET REPUBLIC 22 times throughout the summer months.
