Sander van Doorn teases new progressive house project

Electric-Zoo-2012-Sander-Van-Doorn-3

Sander van Doorn has been keeping busy lately. With both the legendary collaboration alongside Mark Knight and Underworld and recent track with DubVision and Mako under his belt, Doorn could seemingly do anything at this point. His next move appears to be a solo output tentatively labeled “Neon Project,” which he recently uploaded to SoundCloud and is being particularly quiet about. Fusing catchy string work and whistling synths into a momentous progression, Doorn’s newest project takes an absorbing instrumental approach that will undoubtedly leave fans harkening for more.

Audien – Sup (Original Mix)

Audien - Sup

In the wake of his Eventide/Unity EP, Audien is back with the release of his most recent effort, “Sup.” Diverting slightly from the progressive trance sound we’ve seen the youngster exhibit in past releases, “Sup” hits a bit harder. While still incorporating traditional melodic leads and chord progressions, Audien features an electro-influenced drop with heavy synth stabs to form a dance floor-moving beat. Give it a listen and head over to Beatport to pick up the full length via Trice Recordings.

Sandro Silva – Libra (Original Mix)

Sandro Silva released his latest effort, “Libra,” yesterday via Ultra Records. Following remix duties on “Forever Young” and “She Wolf,” the young Dutch producer is back with his first original production since “Pull The Trigger (Gladiator).” Diverting away from the electro sound we’ve heard from Sandro in the past, “Libra” features melodic synth rolls and a reverberating bassline that gives the track a harmonious, feel-good vibe. Check out the snippet below and head over to Beatport to pick up the full-length version.

Rune RK – Teacup (Original Mix)

Rune

We’re sure all of you will have heard the house anthem “Destination Calabria” a thousand times. While Alex Gaudino ran away with the credit for that track, the original version of “Calabria” was actually by a Danish producer named Rune RK. His production talents have flown under our radar until now, but after hearing his track “Teacup” we’re definitely going to keep a close eye on his work. His new single is an absolutely brilliant house tune with an incredibly infectious melody. It has gotten a lot of support from A-Track and Avicii while also being named an Essential Contender by Pete Tong. In short, this is something you need to hear!

Dada Life – White Noise Red Meat (Original Mix)

Sky Walker gave you a preview earlier this week, but fellow astronaut Tim scored the full length banger. Dada Life absolutely kills it again by luring you in and then dropping it heavy. Pretty sure the Swedish duo gave the track all the cowbell anyone could ask for. Check it out and wait for the release on Beatport.

If you remember we posted the Lazy Rich remix a while back. The original one has finally come out (I barely could wait any longer). This teenager may be the fastest rising electro house star in the business. Big things to come from this young chap!

Christian Luke – Ivy (Digital LAB Remix)

Digital LAB does it again with his remix of ‘Ivy’. I cannot wait to see this guy play live, he usually has epic ‘piano-style’ drops, however he spices it up different with this one. The original has been added as a bonus and is a solid choice as well. N-JOY!

Avicii – Street Dancer (Original Mix)

I know what you are thinking…’THIS TRACK IS OLD!’. ‘Street Dancer’ was originally leaked in 2009 as ‘Street Dance’ shortly after Avicii dropped it at the Winter Music Conference. Just like with his last release ‘Malo’ Avicii continues to release older tracks after remastering them. The newer version has a few changes from the leaked version, however anything Tim Berg releases must automatically be thrown up on Dancing Astronaut. I know all of you agree! Fun Fact: This track is based on a sample of a song made in the 80′s called ‘Street Dance’ by Break Machine.
