Though Dada Life, the jubilant Swedish duo of Olle and Stefan, did not bring their champagne and bananas to Ultra this year, their music certainly found its way into many a main stage set. Their remix to the Bingo Players’ ”Out of My Mind” was one such tune that received its fair share of playtime during the festival. Emphasizing the Bingo Players’ easily recognizable melody, Dada Life provide a slamming electro house take on the popular single. With its powerful bassline and stuttered kicks, the remix has a bit of a darker edge in the way of R3hab or Dyro. It may not be their most original work yet, but it certainly inspired havoc on the colossal Ultra speakers last weekend.

The combination of Dada Life and Bingo Players feels like a match made in heaven. Both duos are notorious for their jubilant, carefree anthems and party-starting productions. Recently premiered on the Bingo Players’ own Hysteria Radio, Dada Life’s forthcoming remix of “Out of My Mind” is a potent spin on the Bingo Players’ November single. Building off the winding melody of “Out of My Mind,” Dada Life up the intensity with a hefty, amplified electro house drop in typical Dada fashion. After continuously hitting us with club-worthy releases over the past year, Paul Baumer and Maarten Hoogstraten — better known collectively as Bingo Players — have done it again. Available today through their Hysteria imprint, their latest single “Out of my Mind” hits all the familiar spots with its squeaky synths, promising build-up, and bass-heavy drop. It has been almost a year since we first heard the Bingo Players drop “Out of My Mind” at Ultra Music Festival 2012, and we had started getting sick of calling it an “ID.” The track starts off with huge radiant synths that cause a massive build before culminating in a drop that would bring any dance floor to its feet. While the preview does not feature the vocals, after hearing them again at Electric Zoo we can tell you they complement the melody quite nicely. “Out of My Mind” drops November 12th on Hysteria Records.
