Backed by a slate of investors that includes Mark Cuban, the college music and ideas festival this week unveiled a seven-college spring tour aimed at inspiring entrepreneurship and bringing electronic music to the masses.
Zeds Dead announce fall tour, give away free EP
After experimenting with different sounds in their last EP, Hot Sauce, Zeds Dead is back with another EP and this time they're giving it away for free. The four track EP titled, Altered States, has a track from Zeds Dead, Green Lantern, Branchez bootleg, and Paper Diamond, making it near impossible to pick a genre to label it.

In typical Paper Diamond fashion, heavily compressed synthesis construct a chilling soundscape of echoing electronica driven forward by a bevy of syncopated percussion. Featuring the production touches of twin brother duo Christian Rich and the ethereal vocals of Angela McCluskey, "XIX" dabbles in a variety of genres, dipping its toes in trap and chillwave for what proves to be a match made in downtempo heaven.
Bonnaroo announces its 2013 lineup featuring A-Trak, Boys Noize, Wolfgang Gartner and more
The 2013 lineup for the infamous Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee has been announced and will feature a host of electronic artists including A-Trak, Boys Noize, Wolfgang Gartner, and Pretty Lights. In total, 2013's cast of producers will nearly double from the five in 2012. From Porter Robinson to Four Tet, or Araabmuzik to Paper Diamond, Coachella's less flashy cousin continues to welcome in the entire spectrum of electronica, pitting some of the genre's top producers right alongside legendary bands like Tom Petty, Radiohead and the Beach Boys.
