AN21 and Max Vangeli have remained relatively silent on the release circuit since dropping their debut album, but the Size Records duo return with brand new takes of their latest material. With a remix album of People Of The Night in the works, AN21 and Max first showcase the rework of “Glow” from Promise Land and themselves. Originally debuted by Steve Angello for his Essential Mix, Promise Land’s rendition shows the same anthemic appeal as their work for “Don’t You Worry Child.” Due for a June 3rd release, expect a Kryder and Tom Staar remix of “H8RS” to follow ahead of POTN Remix Mode.
One to always stay relevant in the release circuit, John Dahlback follows his own “Get Wild” with a remix for Promise Land. Complete with big room melody and a euphoric vocal from Georgi Kay, “Emotions” is a well rounded dance offering that has been electrified by its remixes. Dahlback leaves the harmonic side of the track alone while swapping Promise Land’s progressive catalyst for his own electro contribution. While his rendition may not come as a drastic change from the original, the new flavor broadens its appeal. Grab Dahlback’s take of “Emotions,” along with remixes from Mikael Weermets and Master Mood from Beatport via Big Beat.

Earlier this week we previewed Tom Staar and Kryder’s remix of “Don’t You Worry Child,” and this time around, we have a te
ch house and electro cut from Joris Voorn and Promise Land. Joris doesn’t try to do too much — adding a deep, techy sound around a subtle bassline. Promise Land’s rendition — as debuted by Steve Angello at Size in the Park — packs a harder electro punch with slabs of synth work centered around the uplifting vocals of John Martin. Release date is unannounced, but we will share details as we learn more.

Since co-producing “Breaking Up” alongside Chuckie, Promise Land has been looking for their own big break. This week, the duo is back with a big room release featuring lyrics from the same vocalist responsible for the emotion behind “In My Mind” — Georgi Kay. The ‘Miami 305 Vocal Mix’ of “Emotions” crosses progressive house with a big room melody, with a vocal to seal the deal. Expect this uplifting tune to gain airplay at your next festival or club appearance, and catch the official release on Beatport via Big Beat.

Chuckie had no shortage of new tracks to play back at EDC New York, and one of the standout gems was his new collaboration with Promise Land and Amanda Wilson, “Breaking Up.” The track changes up the usual Chuckie Dirty Dutch-ness with some more melodic elements before dropping into a harder section. Amanda Wilson’s vocals add a nice touch over the powerful piano elements that define the track, working towards a build that will get your head bobbing. Check it out for yourselves below, and grab the release on Beatport now.

Nazario Pelusi and Fabio Ranucci, the italian duo that comprise Promise Land seem to have a knack for taking feminine vocals and turning them into EDM hits. Their progressive-house remix of “Oh” by Rebecca Stella highlights the Swedish singer’s voice by using dub-steppy wobbles to distort her sound and also includes the necessary sprinkling of synths and bass. We’re excited to see what else Promise Land has to offer as their remix of “Stronger” was sufficiently dirty and they’ve announced some major collaborations. Promise Land will be dropping their new single with Chuckie and Amanda Wilson, “Breaking Up,” at WMC, so, for those of you heading to Miami for the festivities pay attention for that.

Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger” gets some serious power added to it by the likes of Nicky Romero and Promise Land. Her voice carries throughout the entire tune allowing for house artists to create some amazing drops. Details of both renditions are given below.
Kelly Clarkson – Stronger (Nicky Romero Remix)
Nicky Romero’s gives us a pulsing bassline with an acid house influenced drop. It almost sounds as if he took a few chords straight from his banging single “Generation 303.” We love how he allows Kelly’s vocals to carry most of the tune and then chops them up right before he brings us to euphoria.

Kelly Clarkson – Stronger (Promise Land Remix)
The use of pianos in the build up might get you to think that this remix is your standard progressive track. However, wait until you reach the 1:05 mark. The word “dirty” doesn’t even begin to describe the drop. Brace yourself – you may need a tetanus shot after this one.

The dynamic Roman producers known as Promise Land remixed “Keep Movin” into an underground club hit. Using different styles from their latest remixes of John Dahlback’s “You’re In My Heart,”and Dim Chris’s “You Found Me,” this track contains acid influences and a mysterious dark voice. Jump to 2:28 where right before the drop you will hear “bass now infecting you,” followed by white noise and nutty acid beats. Promise Land go on to progressively add more electro synths throughout the beat keeping the it exciting for the full 7:13. For all you club heads out there this is the kind of track that will get you moving at 3am, especially when the dark voice goes on to say “I am so techno, I am so subliminal.”

We posted the Hardwell preview to this one a while back. All three of these tunes are on point, however Hardwell’s remix is my favorite out of this package. It is a bit harder than the others, but make sure you give them all a listen. It was hard for me to determine which one was the best, what do you guys think? N-JOY TO THE MAX!
