Revolvr & Lea Luna – Machine EP

Las Vegas-based newcomer Revolvr teamed up with songstress/producer Lea Luna and her sultry vocals to bring listeners a three-piece EP entitled Machine due out on Dim Mak Records. The short-lived extended play delivers action-packed outputs seeping with electro energy and Luna’s alluring harmonies to form a collection veering into the darker side of dance music.

The EP starts off with the title track “Machine” which begins with quivering synths and diving hi-hats creating a progressive electro house track that is met by pulsating kick-drums and airy lyrics midway through.  “By Your Side” comes up next giving dubstep fans an innovative production with plunging bass and Luna’s sinisterly savvy melodies. “Dirty Secret” wraps up the package by incorporating electro and dubstep sounds alike to create a tune with a throbbing synth line and funky bass crashes.

Lazy Rich – Better Wipe That Up (Remixes)

I don’t wear panties, but if I did, they would have dropped the same time this track did. When the original Better Wipe That Up debuted back at the end of June, it made its way into the constant repeat cycle on the playlists of any dub-house lovers. This track embodies that signature Lazy Rich sound of great melodic synth builds that get suddenly torn up by dirty dirty dubby chainsaw-style drops (yes, this isn’t the first time we’ve compared his sound to a chainsaw.) It’s impossible to listen to Lazy Rich track on anything less than full bass and volume, and when you do, it’ll probably short-circuit your speakers.
