Rolling Stone announces the 50 most important people in EDM
Rolling Stone once again throws their hat into the electronic ring with their definitive list of the "Top 50 Most Important People in EDM." Giving nods to Boiler Room founders Thristian Richards and Blaise Bellville, the estimable Annie Mac, Funktion-one creator Tony Andrews, Big Beat GM Liz Miller and many more, the world's most recognizable music magazine does well to represent the faces who are pushing the EDM industry forward. On the promotional side, Goldenvoice founder Paul Tollet, HARD's Gary Richards, Insomniac's Pasquale Rotella, Jason Strauss and Noah Tepperberg, Robert Sillerman, David Grutman and more find themselves holding some of the list's most lauded positions but the number one spot goes to James Barton, Live Nation's President of Electronic Music.
