San Diego’s LED Presents has announced the line up for their two-day New Year’s Eve event. The annual OMFG! celebration is 18+ and will take place from December 30th to 31st. Today, the event has released their official lineup and officially roots LED as a promoter to watch. The SoCal company has always placed a heavy emphasis on trap and trip hop style artists in their lineups, but there’s a new sense of variety coming from their holiday celebration roster. Boys Noize, Diplo, Madeon, Nervo, Laidback Luke, GTA, Nero, Feed Me, DJ Snake, Bro Safari, Henrix, Brazzabelle, Ookay, and Cole Plante will light up the San Diego arena and ring in 2014 with some of electronic music’s favorite tunes. Dragan Roganovic, more commonly known as progressive house producer Dirty South, has announced an upcoming small scale club tour with stops in some of the biggest dance music metropolises in the United States. The tour will be hosted by a string of premier night clubs and most shows will be 21+. From November 14th to the 23rd, the #YOURCITY tour will make stops in San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Austin. Roganovic’s first stop in sunny San Diego, California is in collaboration with LED Events and will be hosted at Bang Bang on November 14th. His second California stop hits San Francisco’s club Vessel on November 15th before heading back down to Southern California for Los Angeles’s Sound Nightclub on November 16th. Over the past three years, My Life Every Day, or LED Presents, has grown into San Diego’s leading dance music purveyor. While their New Years’ Eve show is renowned on its own, LED took the opportunity to capitalize on Memorial Day Weekend, throwing an all-out two day festival featuring A-Trak, Feed Me, Brodinski, Gesaffelstein, Axwell, Diplo, Martin Solveig and more. Dancing Astronaut was there to capture all the action of Day 1, from Digitalism, to Baauer, to A-Trak, to special guest Feed Me and French standouts Brodinski and Gesaffelstein. There was no shortage of New Year’s Eve events to choose from this year, but when the two day lineup for LED’s OMFG in San Diego was released, there was no question where I was going to spend my final days of 2012. With a behemoth lineup consisting of Jack Beats, Nervo, Calvin Harris, Nero, Dillon Francis, Hardwell, Zedd, Laidback Luke and more, OMFG boasted an astounding array of talent over its two day spread. While I would happily recount my experiences from all of these tremendous artists, no words can I spare from my descriptions of Nero and Hardwell’s sets. I Love This City Festival hitting San Francisco and San Diego this Memorial Day Weekend (Updated with Ticket information)
A few days ago we brought you early news of a new festival coming to the West coast called “I Love This City,” but were qui
ckly alerted that the news was released a bit prematurely. Well, things are officially official, and the big difference is that now it’s hitting not one city, but two. Just as we exclusively reported, the show will come to The Lot at AT&T Park in San Francisco on May 26th and 27th, but now it will also be running at PETCO Park in San Diego on Saturday and Sunday of that same weekend. Tiesto will headline San Francisco and Skrillex will headline San Diego, but other confirmed acts include Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, Chuckie, A-Trak, R3hab, Fareoh, and 12th Planet. More headliners will be announced on April 23rd, but ticket information will be available this Friday, March 16th.
