A mashup of Giorgio Moroder’s 1978 instrumental “The Chase” with SBTRKT’s far more recent “Pharaohs,” the HARD mastermind’s rendition is so well mashed as to have formed a seamless new substance. Though relying largely on “The Chase” for the backbone and cutting the history lesson about eight minutes short of the original, what is perhaps most impressive about the tune is its timeless feel.
