Ultra Music Festival will be streaming all six days live from the UMFTV YouTube channel, but if you lack the screening power to watch the festivities, Sirius XM will have you covered. Such streaming power would exceed the already established electronic stations, so Sirius XM is launching UMF Radio, previously an Electric Area segment, as its own channel dedicated to the non-stop musical mayhem of Miami Music Week. In its limited run, the station will kick off broadcast on March 15th before closing shop on March 22nd. Tune in for live sets from the biggest pool parties and artist interviews from the Sirius XM lounge; UMF Radio won’t let you miss a Miami moment.
Super sonic is one way to describe his sound, so it’s fitting that Quintino‘s brand new radioshow for Sirius XM is entitled SupersoniQ. Kicking off his weekly broadcast, Quintino pulls out all his gems leading up to his recent “Jackpot,” and Ultra anthem with Tiësto and Alvaro, “United.” As SupersoniQ will hit airwaves every Friday at 6pm, the Dutch megastar is giving away the inaugural episode as a free download via his own SoundCloud.

For trance fans, the choice for New Year’s Eve in New York was clear. Newly re-crowned number one DJ in the world Armin van Buuren was joined by Jerome Isma-ae and Jochen Miller at Pier 36 for a high-energy, nonstop party to ring in 2013. We arrived just in time to catch the last 20 minutes of Jerome’s set, but the change in mood as Armin took over the decks right around 11pm was palpable. He eased the crowd into his four hour set with familiar tracks like his collaboration “I’ll Listen” with Ana Criado, the Omnia Remix of Cosmic Gate‘s “Calm Down,” and catchy tracks from pals like Dash Berlin and Andrew Rayel.

Once again, Arty is back with another weekly episode of Together We Are, and this time he’s going old school. After finding a case of old CDs, Arty decided to make an episode full of classics from when he first started DJing and he plans on continuing this trend every couple of months if his fans like it. Included in the mix are classics like Prydz’s “In & Out,” a remix of Benassi’s “Come Fly Away,” and more, creating a very peaceful mix. We love when artists use their radio shows to experiment and with a mix like this, Arty has us at the edge of our seats.
SiriusXM — one of the go-to radio stations for dance music fans – is always trying to stay ahead of the EDM curve with their innovative programming. The renowned station has announced that they are adding Electric Aquarium to their ever expanding repertoire and are kicking off the series with a live in-studio performance and interview with Afrojack. The series offers SiriusXM listeners the unique opportunity to get up close and personal with their favorite DJs by inviting them inside the glass enclosed “fish bowl studio” to witness live sets and interviews. Upcoming Electric Aquarium performances include Dirty South and Ferry Corsten.
Today’s Good Morning Mix is last week’s episode of Arty‘s radio show on SiriusXM, Together We Are. Arty starts things off with the Shogun Remix of “Must Be The Love,” and continues to bounce back and forth between a wide spectrum of genres. He effortly switches from Skrillex & Nero’s remix of “Holdin On” by MONSTA, to Seven Lions, and Joris Voorn’s “Goodbye Fly.” It’s clear that Arty believes there should be no barriers between genres and as always delivers a flawless mix. Arty will also be performing this Thursday night at LAVO NYC – Purchase tickets here.

17-year-old Danny Avila might be better known for his Justin Bieber like hair than his DJing skills, but his prowess behind the decks is undeniable. I had the pleasure of attending his live in-studio session at SiriusXM last week, and found myself impressed with both his talent and confidence. Avila was discovered by Sirius president and chief content officer Scott Greenstein after receiving recommendations from two important people: Pacha NYC owner Eddie Dean, and the world famous Tiesto. Both came to him with rave reviews, and after checking Avila out for himself, he too recognized the talent.
During his performance in the packed fishbowl studio, Avila proved that there is certainly a place for him in the dance music world — though we’re not quite sure just where yet. Personally, I’m excited to see where his path takes him. Read on for the full tracklist and audio of his set.

Arty is back with his weekly radio show, Together We Are from SiriusXM. This week Arty chose a newer selection of tracks, kicking things off with his new single featuring Nadia Ali and BT, “Must Be the Love” before moving into Wolfgang Gartner’s “Love & War.” Also included in this mix is Walden’s latest single “Warmonger,” which fits perfectly alongside an older track like Dash Berlin’s remix of “Clocks.” Week after week, Arty keeps giving us something else to look forward to.

Arty is back with his weekly Together We Are mix via Sirius XM. This time around, the Russian producer compiles a tracklist that encompasses new and old songs ranging from traditional house grooves to uplifting trance. Timeless productions like Dirty South’s vocal mix of Tracey Thorn’s “Grand Canyon” and Sebastian Ingrosso’s “Laktos” blend seamlessly with recent efforts — like Arty’s upcoming “Grand Final” release and fan-favorite “Don’t You Worry Child” from Swedish House Mafia. Most notably left off the mix is his collaboration with Nadia Ali and BT, “Must Be The Love,” which was just released today. Check after the break for the complete track list and be sure to check out the episode of Axis he mixed for us.
