Fool’s Gold Radio is back with their 23rd installment, mixed by Fool’s Gold co-founder Nick Catchdubs. One of many things that this “tastemaker label” excels in is its keen ability to create masterfully mixed sets with incredible assortments of innovative sounds. But what else would you expect from a business run by a couple of the best technical DJ’s out there? Nick starts this episode with the recently released “Radio Stereo” by Fool’s Gold’s own Duck Sauce. He quickly shifts gears into electro mode with various tunes by Nom De Strip, GTA and Crookers. Nick keeps the energy high at the halfway point with some hip-hop and twerk music with the help of Grandtheft & Smalltown DJ’s. Finishing off this saga, he dishes out a great selection of up beat dance club tunes, including those by Lxury and Feed Me & Crystal Fighters.Posted by
In the fourth installment of Mat Zo‘s guest mix for Sirius XM Radio, we’re introduced to a deeper side of Zo’s taste, including songs from Dusky and Joris Voorn. As the mix progresses, he dips into artists like Cirez D, Morten Breum and Michael Brun, clearly showing off his eclectic taste. While he’s known for his progressive trance-like leanings, it’s nice to see his broaden his selections and create a mix all dance music fans can enjoy. Mat doesn’t post a track-list since he likes to see fans ID tracks, so have your best go at it.
Calvin Harris and Alesso are back with a new track that is sure to set a few main stages alight (TomorrowWorld, anyone?). Theo Hutchcraft’s powerful vocals set against a fanfare of signature synthwork will probably be a massive stage-killer. We can picture the jumping seas of people and fireworks already. Alesso premiered the full track in his Sirius XM set from Ibiza, which you can listen to in its entirety here.Posted by
Mat Zo is back with his weekly Sirius XM mix featuring his favorite track picks at the moment. Zo spins us through a range of sounds from hard-hitting electro house to elegant trance using his one-of-a-kind mixing abilities to fuse them together. Tracks like Carli’s “The Weekender,” The M Machine’s “Faces” and Arty’s remix of his own “Synapse Dynamics” are featured along with a few intriguing IDs and unique remixes. Catch Mat at Electric Zoo at the Hilltop Arena this Saturday.Posted by
Mat Zo has been on a role lately with recent previews of “Pyramid Scheme” and Ellie Goulding’s “Burn” causing a much deserved buzz throughout the dance music world. To add to the list Mat has put together an hour-long mix of original new material mixed with an eclectic selection of tracks from his peers. The set opens with a moving take on Fleetwood Mac’s hit “Dreams” mixed with Mord Fustang’s “Something Right Now” moving into tracks like Madeon’s “Technicolor,” and Andrew Bayer’s “England.” In perfect Zo style, the mix is gritty enough to keep you on your toes yet silky smooth through entire duration.Posted by

Tiësto’s trance and EDM personas are well-known, but a deeper side of him seems on the horizon. After releasing a Musical Freedom trap-remix EP last week, Tijs has announced the addition of “Club Life After Hours” to his Sirius XM channel. The deep and vocal house focused show will run for a full 24-hours beginning at 5AM on Sundays and ending at 5AM on Mondays. While he will DJ the inaugural “Club Life After Hours” mix, guest DJs are scheduled to take the reigns on future editions.
While Tijs considers the genres appropriate for chilled out easy listening, don’t expect to hear any deep house in his live performances. Tiesto explained,
“Stylistically, I don’t think [house is] ready for my live sets just yet because I like to play a little more energetic and uplifting, but who knows in the future.”
