Size In The Park is just over a month away from its sequel affair taking over The Big Apple once more as Steve Angello and family are set to re-conquer Central Park. Last year’s event was one to remember, as Third Party, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, and AN21 & Max Vangeli — all of whom are set to return — supported the Size Records front man for the perfect close to New York City’s summer party season. By the time Steve took the decks, torrential rain poured over his crowd, providing more as production value than a hinderance to dancing. Within his mix came “Hit It,” while it was in its earliest stages of circulation, and Promise Land’s take on “Don’t You Worry Child,” before it could even be identified as such. Relive Size In The Park 2012 as you gear up for its return with Angello’s live set — tracklist below the break.
Size In The Park is back with two nights this year. Central Park will once again host Steve Angello and the Size Records squad Friday, September 27th and Saturday, September 28th. General admission tickets will be available August 9, but presale tickets can still be purchased. Use the code “SITP2” to buy tickets now - Get tickets here.Posted by
Last September Steve Angello and his Size Records battalion capped off New York City’s summer season with a Central Park blow out hailed aptly as Size In The Park. Joined by AN21 & Max Vangeli, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, and Third Party, the evening became one of the most memorable in The Big Apple’s recent history — remembered for its resiliency through rain storms. Progressing into August signs of the event’s return have officially been spotted via Twitter, insinuating another Size Matters party in Central Park this Fall.

Climbing the ranks of international superstardom for over 18 years and showcasing his seasoned talents all over the planet, it is now becoming clear that Steve Angello has been destined from birth to conquer the capital of the world – New York City. First it was Madison Square Garden alongside SHM brethren Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, then it was Giants Stadium at New York’s inaugural Electric Daisy Carnival, and this time, the bearded Swede brought his Size Matters crew right to the heart of New York City: Central Park.
September 22nd, 2012 started off like a normal autumn afternoon in the big apple. Dog walkers, cyclists, and tourists were going about business as usual in Central Park – that was, until Pacha began to paint the streets red. With lines filing as early as 4pm and New York’s dance scene flooding the park, you could hear voices coming from the passing horse-and-carriages – “What is ‘Size in the Park’?” The early rumblings were loud, but by the time things got underway at 5PM, no one would expect the storms that would unfold.
Size In The Park: Steve Angello and friends do Central Park NYC September 22, 2012 (update: afterparty at Pacha)
As we revealed exclusively earlier this week, Steve Angello and his Size Matters crew will be coming to New York’s Central Park this September. “Size In The Park” — a riff on the BBC’s ‘T In the Park’ event — will go down at Rumsey Playfield (where the SummerStage is located, natch), and will also host supporting artists AN21 & Max Vangeli, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, and it will be the NYC debut for Third Party. Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday at 12PM EST. Last year he commandeered an entire island and this year he’s going after the largest park in New York — we’d say when it comes to Steve Angello, Size definitely Matters.

Update 2: As if there was any question, Steve Angello confirmed to our own Dylan Farella on Twitter that he will be playing an afterparty at Pacha NYC.
