Infuze – Far Away EP

InfuzeFarAway

Infuze is closing out 2012 in style. Last we heard from the NYC bass music producer, his excellent Bytesize remix was getting BBC Radio 1 support from the likes of Skream & Benga. This week finds him unleashing four original tracks on an impressive debut EP for 12th Planet‘s esteemed Smog label.

Title track “Far Away” is a peak-hour banger driven by Infuze’s own singing and a squealing electro synth that recalls Flux Pavilion. “Stronger On My Own” pairs a compelling female vocal sample with stuttered Skrillexesque stabs and melodic noodling, while the muscular and symphonic “Black Out” features the contributions of fellow NYC producer TADT. Far Away finishes strong with “Fever,” a plucky number buoyed by pitched-up vocals and percussive handiwork. Check out previews after the jump and drop by Beatport to grab a copy.
