Afrojack is making a statement for his year to come, closing out 2012 with a serious bang. As the lead single off his upcoming artist album, the Chris Brown collaboration “As Your Friend,” begins to crash the airwaves, Afrojack has unleashed his remix for Keane. Much like Alesso’s spin on “Silenced By The Night,” Nick has taken “Sovereign Light Cafe” head on, crafting one of his biggest records of the year. Keane’s vocal leads the way for euphoric production, building with light waves of synths and jabs of enchanting chords before the climax takes hold and induces an out of body listening experience.

So it seems that “Air Guitar” won’t be Afrojack’s final release of 2012. Instead, it will be his remix of Keane’s “Soverign Light Cafe,” which may turn out to be his largest scale production since “Can’t Stop Me.” Much like Alesso did for “Silenced By The Night, Afrojack turns the alternative rock track into an anthem of its own. Crafty, progressive chords escalate atop Keane’s vocal and rhythmic kick-drum before Afrojack puts his stamp on the drop, declaring his latest production larger than life. Afrojack’s rendition of “Sovereign Light Cafe” will be released December 24th exclusively on Wall Recording, and look forward to his take on “Gangnam Style” to be released soon as well.
