Swanky Tunes are teaming up with fellow Russian producer Eitro and Toronto duo DVBBS for their latest progressive house anthem, “We Know.” Introducing itself with some electric strings, the track works off a catchy vocal hook and a torrent of tugging, pulsating synths. The rolling drop is an adequate peak to the energy of the build up, and is sure to be further supplemented by the vocals in the complete version. Even in its preview stage, “We Know” is sounding quite engaging. The collaborative Russian-Canadian production will be officially released on April 15th on Spinnin’ Records.
Still sorting out your Miami Music Week plans? Then why not enter to win two general admission tickets to the Spinnin Sessions pool party at Nikki Beach next week. On March 20th, from 12pm to 9pm, the Spinnin Records troupe will invade Miami’s hottest day club with Sander Van Doorn, Carnage, DubVision, Michael Calfan, Firebeatz and more, all set to deliver over 9 hours of blistering, sun-kissed beats.
One of Holland’s more rambunctious duos has returned with another hard-hitting electro house tune. Firebeatz this week released “Gangster,” bringing their signature grimy sound into their first original of the year. First heard on Axis Episode 044, “Gangster” starts off fairly downtempo before building into a beat-heavy track with a tonal structure reminiscent of “Dear New York.” Released just in time for Miami Music Week, “Gangster” is guaranteed to be played out at Spinnin’ Records Nikki Beach party.

After previewing “Redux” back in early February, DubVision and Spinnin Records have officially released the track in full. Considering their last original solo production, “All By Myself,” dropped just over a year ago, today is fitting for the release of “Redux.” The track employs the duo’s characteristic, uplifting big room chord progressions backed by major builds and breaks. Don’t be shocked when you hear “Redux” echoing through the festival grounds at Bayfront Park during Ultra Music Festival.

Collaborating with Tiësto on one of the UMF anthems isn’t quite enough for Dutchmen Quintino & Alvaro — the pair has just teased fans with a preview of their latest collaboration, “World In Our Hands,” set for a March 29th release on Spinnin Records. The track is a veritable hands-up dedication to the bliss of success and although preview is only about 40 seconds long, you can be sure it’ll be a summertime big room tune for all to enjoy.
R3hab is back with a preview of his next release, the anthem for Life In Color’s 2013 tour, “Do It.” Fadil goes big room from the chord progression to the drop and, with help from the paint party’s resident DJ, David Solano, offers a rare progressive build. R3hab leaves his comfort zone to work with Solano, and the result varies from the rest of his long list of collaborations. “Do It” is set to do damage at Life In Color parties nationwide, even before its Spinnin’ Records release on April 3rd.
Still burning from the fuse of “Wakanda,” Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike have joined forces with Moguai for a collaboration that couldn’t be described as anything but “Mammoth.” Moguai’s supersonic, fine-tuned electro chords provide the Belgian tandem with a backbone for their big room sound, combining for an overall forceful record that has made its way into countless sets over the past month. Every sound manufactured for “Mammoth” is crisp, clean cut, and punches with vigor, and the melody is one that instantly sticks. This collaboration already has a ticket stamped: final destination, Miami.

They say there’s something in the water and we have to agree after hearing this week’s release from the latest additions to the Dutch powerhouse. The Netherlands’ Dyro and Bassjackers have joined forces on hard electro track “Grid” with results that have their fellow countrymen Tiësto, Afrojack and Sander Van Doorn’s approval. Kicking off with a heavy rolling synth, the tune throws in some glitchy breakdowns before delivering the extra large builds both acts have consistently showcased. A little darker and with a little more bass than we’ve heard from either individually, Dyro and Bassjackers’ collaboration shows the best has yet to come for these young Dutch producers.

While genre crossovers are not all that rare, a house collaboration from a notoriously dirty dubstep producer and a well-known trap artist is definitely not something you see every day. In fact, it’s something you hardly ever see. Against all odds, dubstep’s raunchiest DJ, Borgore, has teamed up with Carnage, one of trap’s most iconic producers, to create “Incredible,” a dirty house track in the purest (or dirtiest?) sense of the word.
Dutch domination abounds. Recent Axis guest mixers and famed “Committed to Sparkle Motion” remixers DubVision are back with a preview of their latest original production “Redux,” due out on Spinnin Records on March 8th — just in time for Miami. “Redux” holds the line with what DubVision has released so far: straightforward, uplifting big room chord progressions with major builds and breaks — perfect for a main stage type of feel. Take a listen to the preview below and look for the full release in a few weeks.
