To plug their upcoming Endless Summer Tour, Los Angeles nu disco duo Classixx have lent their dreamy chilled-out vibes to Passion Pit’s lead single “Take a Walk.” Employing a head-nodding bass line and skillfully effected vocals, the remix is a thoughtful reinvention of the electro-pop band’s most successful single to date. There are tons of up and coming DJs in the New York area but David Berrie is one of a few stand out talents. He recently offered a free download of his Goyte remix and is now doing the same with “Take A Walk.” The track’s build up is melodic and relaxing while the drop diverges into heavy synths and big room sounds. dBerrie took Passion Pit’s electro pop original and turned it into a dance floor ready tune.
