Following in the footsteps of Felix Cartal and Project 46, Israel producer Maor Levi takes on The Killers’ latest radio-friendly hit “Miss Atomic Bomb,” transforming the pop-rock anthem with progressive chordplay and booming percussion. Brandon Flowers’ iconic vocals are accentuated by the Anjunabeats producer’s big room stabs to create another sing-a-long anthem reminiscent of The Killers’ oft-remixed “Mr. Brightside.” Download the remix for free and don’t forget to check out Maor’s first Anjunabeats compilation released earlier this month.Posted by
We’ve always enjoyed house music that incorporates the Killers. Whether it be Pierce Fulton’s blissful take on “Runaways,” or Hardwell’s mashup of Alesso’s “Silenced By the Night” and “Mr. Brightside,” Brandon Flower’s voice is more than ideal for progressive house productions. Taking on the second single off the Killers’ recent Battle Born LP, Project 46 provide a deliciously dark remix of “Miss Atomic Bomb.” Straying from their usual blend of uplifting, chord-driven drops, Project 46 deliver a bulkier progressive house output. It might just be our favorite work from the Canadian duo yet. If you enjoy the remix, pick it up for free from SoundCloud.

Rockbands get their fair share of remixes from electronic producers, especially a group like The Killers whose track “Mr. Brightside” can be heard at almost any festival. Jaques Lu Cont chose “Flesh and Bone,” a track off The Killers new album, to grace his remix collection. With the addition of an old school beat and sped up tempo, Lu Cont turns this rock song into an uplifting euphoric gem. You might have seen Pierce Fulton’s remix of “Runaways” but this track is featured on the deluxe edition of Battle Born and is now available on iTunes.

The Killers lead singer, Brandon Flowers’ vocal stylings are made to be remixed. The emotion in his voice is the perfect match for big room progressive synthwork and Pierce takes full advantage on his remix of the latest The Killers release “Runaways.” His most progressive track to date, this remix features a driving bass line and punchy percussion with the remarkably clean production style we’ve come to expect from Pierce. Set to be released on Beatport as a single in the next 2 months this one is definitely worth keeping an eye on – it’s got sing-along anthem written all over it.
