The Opium Group’s Phase 1 Miami Music Week lineup includes Afrojack, Arty, John Dahlback, and more
Opium Group, the conglomerate representing Miami clubs Mansion, Cameo, Set, and Mokai, has just announced their first phase of Miami Music Week parties for the aforementioned clubs. So far Opium has only shared details about these eight shows at the four clubs for the week of March 19 through March 24th, but there are sure to be many more events dribbling in leading up to Ultra, WMC, and MMW. There's a little something for everyone: Afrojack and his Jacked party, John Digweed and Bedrock, Umek and his 1605 crew, James Zabiela and Born Electric homies, John Dahlback and other Mutants, and Arty, Morgan Page, and Robbie Rivera to boot. Bring it on Miami.
Steve Aoki and Afrojack set to headline Road to Ultra: New Orleans
Leading up to the main event in Miami, Ultra is throwing a two-night party in New Orleans. "Road to Ultra" will take place on February 1st and 2nd -- better known as Super Bowl weekend -- at The Metropolitan Nightclub and Ampersand, respectively.
Ultra Music Festival Europe announces headliners
Although Ultra Music Festival Europe was just announced in Croatia, the phase one of the lineup has been revealed. July 12th will feature Avicii, July 13th will feature Armin Van Buuren, and both days will host the legendary Carl Cox, the only one to ever bring his friends along.
Ultra Music Festival crosses the pond, touching down in Croatia this July
Ultra Worldwide has just announced that they will be bringing their prestigious festival to Europe for the first time in 2013. From July 12th - 14th in Croatia, the festival plans to span 2 separate venues - spending its first 2 days at Poljud Stadium before moving to the Hotel Amfora Grand Beach Resort on the island of Hvar. For those of us stuck in the states there are already extensive plans to stream the event through UMF TV and UMF Radio. Priced at 40 euros (approximately $65 USD), early bird tickets for the first two days go on sale December 5th exclusively at Ultra Europe.com. Billboard.biz reports that the two companies will be forming a "global alliance," that essentially links one of the strongest record labels out there to one of the most lucrative festival brands worldwide.
