Las Vegas isn’t the only place to be for fun in the sun during Memorial Day Weekend as Revel is officially opening the HQ Beach Club in Atlantic City. Over the course of the three day drinking holiday, the hotel will host eight different DJs including Armin van Buuren, Wolfgang Gartner, Laidback Luke, and New York City staple Boris. Whether you’re in search of euphoric trance, grinding electro, tribal beats, or a dirty dutch soundtrack all will be at your disposal at HQ Dayclub and Nightclub.

Nicole Moudaber‘s latest EP Sonic Language is out today on Adam Beyer’s seasoned techno label Drumcode. The Nigerian standout has included two tracks on this sampling of classic techno heaven — “The Road to Transformation” and the title track, “Sonic Language.” “Sonic Language,” the darker of the two tracks, seems to nicely complement and round out the slightly lighter taste left by “The Road to Transformation.” Sonic Language offers a strong follow-up to her last EP The Journey Begins produced with Victor Calderone and released back in August. This EP offers dark, pulsing techno grooves that breath new life into older and more traditional techno sounds while still maintaining the elements of the genre fans have come to know and love.

Seeing these two team up only seems natural — they have combined their shared passion for the tough sounds of relentless beat making to create a dazzling two-track techno release. “The Journey Begins” – the lead track on the EP – features gloomy vocal spouts over a dark and pulsating groove. “Vertical Limit” says New York all over it — featuring that hypnotic tribal sound Calderone has become to synonymous with, meeting Moudaber half way on the bouncy side to create a rhythm perfect for the dance floor.
