It’s an eventful time to be dBerrie. After lending his big room touch to no shortage of notable remixes, the New York producer checked in from his Generation Wild Tour with Deniz Koyu and Danny Avila to release a polished vocal mix of his single “Aquarius” as a free download for his fans. 20-year-old singer Tatiana Owens provides radio-ready vocals on the melodic progressive house number that is now likely to see some increased remix attention. Head to dBerrie’s Soundcloud to pick up a copy today.
The official video for the vocal version of Hard Rock Sofa and DJ Squire’s “Just Can’t Stay Away” surfaced on YouTube today. The Russian compatriots layered Max’C's soaring vocals on top of their winding leads and melodic synth progression. The video follows a tourist and a gorgeous dirty-blonde in Moscow, whose relationship quickly escalates from chance encounter to steamy make-out session in a crowded club. Check out the video and stay tuned for the October 8th release via Spinnin’ Records.
The other day we brought you the latest track from Swedish wunderkind Jakob Liedholm, his collaboration with Steerner “Never Again.” Today we have his take on The Knocks’ track “The Prize.” Jakob absolutely crushes the classic synthy piano progressive sound and changes The Knocks’ usually chill vibe into an anthemic house tune. As we said the other day, we predict bright things for this 15 year old producer, and it’s quite frankly a little scary that he’s barely into the double digits.. No word on the official release date of this one, however, so for now just enjoy it on SoundCloud.

The full video for Dada Life’s “Happy Violence” is out, and focuses on a mythical office that begins celebrating when “Dada Life Inc” stock goes through the roof. This consists of coffee pots being poured on heads and shirts being ripped off — though none belonging to females, natch. The video accompanies the release of the vocal mix, as well as a slew of remixes to it — including from Kaskade and Swanky Tunes. The full release is available on Beatport now, but let us know in the comments which one you’re digging the most.
PS: Kaskade played it both nights at Roseland Ballroom.

“Happy Violence” is one of the more exquisitely crafted tracks to emerge from Dada Life’s laboratories in the recent past, and now there’s a preview for a vocal mix set to be released on Halloween. We’re not 100% sure on this, but the vocals sound eerily reminiscent of Nervo. Apparently Dada dropped this one when they played with Tiesto at the Home Depot Center in LA. Honestly the vocal sounds nice, but it just gave us the strange desire to hear a mashup of “We’re All No One” with “Happy Violence” (*wink*wink* *nudge*nudge*).
Roger Sanchez brings his New York style to Robbie Williams’ ‘Last Days Of Disco’. This is a very upbeat tune and follows the same structure as a dancefloor bomb. You can literally see the positive vibes emit from people when you play this song at a party. N-JOY!

Great new progressive track to start 2011 off the right way. Both Steve Haines and Ted Nilsson hail from the United Kingdom and have collaborated together to form other hits such as ‘And I wonder’. Expect big things from these two as the year goes on!

Milk & Sugar and Vaya Con Dios comes out with their hit song ‘Hey’. This has been sitting on top of Beatport’s top 10 chart forever (switching on and off at the top spot with Fedde Le Grand’s “Missing”). Many artists have been using this track to open up their sets. The Niels van Gogh and Daniel Strauss remix is my favorite. This is a must have…so you can chant ‘Hey Nah Neh Nah’ at parties! N-JOY!

The Crookers return to their electro house roots with this remix of the Outhere Brothers track “Enjoy.” If you are a fidget house fan, this is the track for you. Also check out this video of part of the Crookers set at the WMC. Crookers throwing in some King of Africa in their sets. Gotta love that.
